* bird embroidery panel #2

Posted on January 11th, 2009 by maitreya. Filed under Cross Stitch/Embroidery.

Finally finished the second of my bird embroideries.  You can read the other post if you want pattern or canvas details.

I tried the punch needle for the outline, which worked famously until I tried to remove the tracing paper template I stitched over.  Way to think ahead, ugh, of course that would pull out all the stitches.  So, I had to restitch some, but it wasn’t too bad.

Not my best embroidery (the canvases are a little hard to work with), but I’m going to put them up in a weird nook space next to my bookshelves in my office, so you won’t be able to look at them up close anyway.
