* amigurumi frogbear

From the same book as the blue bunny, here’s a little bear for my nephew. He’s teeny, about 2 inches tall. That’s because I made him with a #1 hook and #5 perle cotton. I’m really happy with the perle cotton. It was easy to work with, comes in all sorts of colors, and I didn’t even use an entire skein of any of them. The Bad Kitten keeps trying to steal him, so he’s living on the bookshelf at the moment.

I have been seeing these little ones all over, of course, but now I think I really might need to get this book! My mom loves little teddy bears, and little bears that dress up like other animals even more… she would love a little crocheted bear, I think!
I like the colors you used, too. :)

Your bear is so cute! I tried to crochet a cupcake with pearle cotton but I gave up. After seeing this cute little guy I’m going to try again! Thanks!

This is cuper cute. Your nephew probably loved it!!
I have been really enjoying your blog site. You have inspired me to try sewing up some wallets. The zipper card holder turned out great. I can’t wait to try it out. I also have a link to you blog on my blog site. Hope you don’t mind :)
