* spring cleaning

I just deleted more than half of the feeds I read on Bloglines. I am feeling overwhelmed by the craft blogs lately. I think I spend way more time reading them and following all their links than I do making things. I’ll make the updates to the site this weekend, plus the long-intended redesign (mainly brought on by almost hitting my bandwidth limit this month and realizing how big my background image is). So, fair warning if you want to take a last-minute peek at the links page before they disappear.

Yes. I, too, have cut my bloglines in half. So much great, beautiful stuff out there, but I don’t think it’s necessarily so healthy for me to see it ALL at once! So much information! Ack!

Oh! I do this too! And I probably have a small blog-role compared to yours. I need to focus on some “main” blogs (my favorites) and get back to more crafting.

i recently converted all my links to del.icio.us, then just put a link to the page on my site. it works pretty well, although i’d be happier if you could sort through it alphabetically (it looks like that might still be in the works). it was actually pretty easy to load them all - you can download a button to your toolbar that makes it simple - but it did take some time.

I feel the same about the craft blogs and Craftster too sometimes, just so much inspiration, tutorials and things to admire! EEk! Totally feeling you on this. I rarely venture ouside of my links Monday-Friday (not that I don’t have a ton of links, but I am trying). I try to limit major blog reading days to Saturday or Sunday mornings. Those days when I find myself spending an hour or two reading blogs I want to kick myself!
