* clutch
Posted on April 30th, 2006 by maitreya. Filed under Sewing/Fabric Crafts.
I’ve been seeing a bunch of nice clutches around and about lately, so I decided to make myself one. The nifty fabric is from Joann’s, the flower is from corsage and something like corsage, and the design is my own. The corsage is a pin because one day I’m going to come across a piece of woven ribbon that would look perfect sewn across the front. If you have anything you think would fit the bill, I’m always up for swaps. :)

Great fabric! Nice throwback to the 30’s and 40’s. Love your embroidery from your previous posts. We are moving and I am tempted to do that in every drawer for a clutter free life.

I love the shape of this. It’s very pretty. I just discovered your blog and LOVE your embroidery work. So fresh and original. I’m looking forward to exploring more. Thanks for the nice comment you left on my quilt.

that clutch is really cute! I live near the offray ribbon outlet so I have a sickening amount of grosgrain ribbon and other stuff. Here’s a link to my blog where I posted pictures of some of my stash, if you want to look and another picture from the actual outlet. If you tell me what you are thinking, I’ll be glad to look for you….
