* pan handle mitt

I got a nice cast iron frying pan for a dollar at a garage sale a few weeks ago. Today while cooking lunch, my husband wished that he had a hot mitt for the pan handle. I immediately thought of this scrap of quilted fabric left over from the coffee press cozy. I knew there was a reason I didn’t throw it away! Two seams later, wish granted.

woulb like to purchase one dozen mitts for our 5″ iron skillets used in our restaurant. Is this something you do? Only one I saw on the internet is the one you made. Please let me know if you are interested….thanks, Sandy
