If I had a chalk board in my craft room, I would make myself write
Japanese patterns don’t include seam allowances.
100 times and then maybe, just maybe, I would finally remember it.

That’s so funny:) I guess I have to thank whoever decided not to put seam allowances on european patterns, because now I automatically do it anyway, or otherwise I’m sure I’d have to write that down not 100 but 500 times …

not always. as I know, there is patterns with allowerance in a book for stuffed animals:

Some of my books show it and others don’t….so I” always be wrong no doubt.

he he… i know the feeling! i just resorted to putting post it notes with this message all over my sewing books. can’t trust them old grey cells of mine…
