* letterpress lite

Just what I need, another craft gadget to lust after.  Lifestyle crafts is coming out with a (relatively) cheap and easy home letterpress kit.  They have suspiciously few zoom photos to tell quality, but the few they have look pretty good.  You have to get specific plates from them with a limited range of designs, but I’m betting that could be hacked from the looks of it.  Some of the reviews sound promising, to the point of causing distress among Etsy purveyors for potentially bringing their art to the masses.  In short,

    Oh this looks dreamy… I wonder if it’s going to be any good. It would be cool if it was… really cool!

    I love my print gocco so if they made it may just rock :) but I bet it’s too expensive for most people to buy to make a dent in etsy sales.

    I’m totally amazed at how much press this product is generating. For the home crafter, it looks like fun. But, if you’d like some seriously professional letterpress printing with no hassle and priced well below most “boutique” printers, check us out.
