The future is now.  Spoonflower has apparently finally set up a way to buy other people’s fabric designs on demand, now in beta testing.  I am sooo going to get some yardage of one of the sweetie pie press’s security blanket/envelope prints.  She says this is one of a series, so I might wait to see which one(s) I like best before ordering.

Imagine, though, anyone can be a fabric designer now!  I hope this leads to a golden age of fabric designs.  I wonder what their profit-sharing deal is?

awww! thanks for the kind words.

i have to be strong and avoid plunging myself into fabric designing at the moment so this will be the only design for a little while. it makes me sad. but reality has me making buttons and running craft shows for the next month or two.

when the snows come, though, security for everyone! i really do dream of a quilt made from this. maybe some insane dresden plates. imagine!

I love this design, too, and look forward to seeing more once craft show season is over!
