* satin stitch practice

Posted on August 30th, 2005 by maitreya. Filed under Cross Stitch/Embroidery.

I reorganized my craft room today and came across an embroidery practice swatch I did a while back. It’s with variegated thread, though you can’t really tell.

Seems like it should be good for something….

    lovely stitching. maybe a patch for a bag, toiletries pouch, or apron? or a tiny wall hanging?

    It would be great for any zakka pattern that uses bits and pieces!

    I find the satin stitch to be somewhat frustrating – looks like you’ve perfected it (it looks to me like that’s what you used on the letters). Very nice work!
