* Pillowcase skirt

Posted on June 13th, 2003 by maitreya. Filed under Inspiration.

I found this on Dollie Clothing. It’s a pillowcase turned into a drawstring skirt.

I want to make one to wear on the beach. There are instructions on how to make one at Craftster and Get Crafty and Aesthetica Projects.

    i saw these… somewhere… once… when i was looking at craft sites. i started looking at pillowcases at goodwill to see what looked wearable. holding pillowcases up to yourself like skirts sometimes will get you funny looks, btw. anyway, since now i’m working at a goodwill, i’ll start sending you pillow cases for skirts.

    i have this dream where one day i’ll do some crafty stuff, so i check out all these sites, but i’ve only ever made the magnents [not martha inspiration] and i frosted my window at my old house [also not martha inspired].

  • This recipe with white beans is probably my favorite farro salad yet. The creamy beans play a huge role in that, along with the sweet tender leeks and fresh parsley. But it's the chunks of salty, citrusy preserved lemon, a condiment often used in Moroccan cooking, that really takes this salad to the next level.
